Only in medical school...

I just received this email from one of the first year medical students. I actually think that it's a great idea, but an event like this could only be organized by a people who willingly hung out with cadavers during their first few months of graduate school. Read on and realize just how different medical students (and doctors) are from the rest of the human race...

Come for the living wills! Stay for the wine and cheese!

____ and I think that living wills are important, and that everyone should fill one out. However, we also know that no one is ever going to get around to filling out their own living will unless they have a date, time, and place to do it.

Thus was born the first ever Living Will Night!

We provide EVERYTHING you need: the date, time, place, AND the legal documentation. You will be able to leave with your own personal legal living will in hand. As well as tasty beverages and snacks for those who need a little more incentive. The final menu has yet to be set, but I guarentee there will be at least plenty of two buck chuck, caprese salad, other fine cheeses, and some form of chocolate.

All you have to do is show up! And possibly be a witness for someone else. If you've already filled one out, or are undecided, feel free to come anyways and celebrate the importance of living wills.

When: Wednesday, May 31, 6 to 10pm.

Where: my house, ___

See you there!
