I am at school with coyote, rabbit, delirium, and a few other MSIIs trying to study for our very last exam. Even though this is for a very well taught class, the amount of information --being that we are, after all, in medical school-- is still overwhelming. Rabbit, coyote and I just realized that we've each gotten through 8 of 17 lectures. It's 10pm. The test is at 2:15pm tomorrow. We've been actually studying pretty intently all day, with a few breaks for head purging and a frightening attempt to decide on food which involved us abandoning the salad idea, getting a jamba juice+prezel+popcorn and then, last minute, driving through for burgers at the In and Out drive through. It's hard to feed yourself when your head is about to explode.
The last hour I've been getting giddier and giddier. Likely it is due to the disgraceful amount of caffeine I've had today, or the DayQuil LiquidCaps I've been popping like candy to prevent my nose from simply falling off from all the blowing/drying I've been doing. And of course, the reality is already, prematurely, beginning to decend upon all of us that we are ALMOST DONE with the classroom sitting/butt aching portion of medical school. Either way, Rabbit and I have spent the last 5 minutes coming up with (what we think are) funny things to put down on the nephro essay question tomorrow before we run out to join our classmates in a game of keg soaked sloshball in the school quad. I can't wait.
