friends, friday night and vertigo

After a busy and overwhelming first week of surgery and a very crappy ending to my week, I decided to deny myself rest and a good night of sleep and go out with friends. It was a great decision. Rabbit, as usual, organized and motivated us, and so, as usual, we went to a gay bars. Though I made it clear to Rabbit that we needed to include more straight bars (with pool tables! and shuffleboard! and straight men!) on our itinerary in the future, I have to admit the the gay ones are pretty interesting. Between pimping Rabbit out to a threesome of hot latino men ("I have a friend. He's a doctor. He's been very deprived lately and needs some attention."), watching gay cowboys line dance to pop music (very very mesmerizing), and getting ridiculously drunk, I had a wonderful time. Now, I'm a bit behind on my daunting pile of reading, but I am feeling remarkably more sane (though, admittedly, still a bit lightheaded and dizzy).
