i've started my surgery rotation. the first month will be at the VA here in sacramento. it's a very well organized program, though there is slightly more work. my schedule is already packed, but, surprisingly, i have most of each weekend off (just have to round in the mornings and occasionally take overnight call).

i start tomorrow at 6am, so my alarm clock is going off at 5. in other words, i should go to bed soon.

i will try to update this once things get more into a rhythm (haha).
