insanity

I'm post-call after a 31 hour shift. Just woke up from my not so refreshing 4 hour nap. For most people, 31 hrs would mean 3-4 work days. For med studnents/interns/residents, we have one of these days 1-2 times a week. For me, it was my "Friday", at the end of a long work week of getting into work before 6am and leaving after 6pm. Not even sure how many total week hours that is (and it's completely irrelevant, since when I actually get home I still have to study, write H&Ps, research my patients and prepare presenatations). Needless to say, it's insane.
