I'm super excited. It's likely going to be several years before I'm able to have my own kids, but my maternal hormones have already been going crazy. At least for now, I will have a bit of an outlet for some of that energy. Here's a picture of sweet little Fiona:

kids are great and i definitely want some but for now having a niece and nephew is good enough for me. just wish i saw them more often. its great spending a few hours with them and then when they wear you out you can pass them back to the parents and you can get some "quiet time".
yeah, that's definitely a good thing. one of my friends is in med school with me and watching her go through pregnancy and now early motherhood (while going to med school), made it seem like a much bigger deal than on tv ;-)
