Thoughts on medical school

I'm coming to realize that this year -3rd year, the first year of clerkships- is going to be remarkably intense. Everyday, I and my classmates see and experience things most people only come across a few times in their lives - people suffering, struggling, celebrating, dying and getting a second chance at life. Each day, out integrity is challenged by a system that too easily rewards lying, manipulating, and superficial gestures or blantant ass-kissing. And within a month or two, we are already starting to see a glimpse of the kind of doctors we will become.

So on a good note, here is a beautifully written and thoughtful entry posted by one of my classmates.
