hmm...

someone in my class today sent out a link to the most powerful conservative organization in california...as a place where we could find a "non-partisan" review of the propositions we will be voting on this month.

among the bills that this "pro-family" organization opposes (other than the obvious abortion, gay marriage stuff) include:
- a bill that would increase the minimum wage from $6.75 to $7.75
- several bills for increasing funding for education
- a bill that would help support pre-schools
- a bill that would provide drug recovery health care for drug addicts
- a bill that would punish discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation

i love it. the hypocrisy coming off this website reminds me of a recent parasite we learned about in class:
