Ok. I am officially launching (what an exciting verb!) my "blog".
(All of you clicking mindlessly away on your computers, hoping to find something to pass the time, pull over for awhile.)
Really, I'm just hoping to force myself to take the time to write and keep track of the exciting things I'm getting to do these days.
Also, as I'm getting ready to lock myself away in the isolating environment of medical school, I'm hoping that this will give me a chance to share some of my thoughts and pictures with all my scattered friends and family (who have nothing better to do at work than read other people's blogs.)

Note: A few of the next entries are from the last few months, when I first decided to keep a blog, but had not organized myself well enough to put it up. Apparently, I've found the time in medical school...at 1am.
